This site is operated by Cauldron Studio LLC, a New York limited liability company. References to "we," "us," and "our" mean Cauldron Studio LLC. References to "you" mean any visitor to or user of this website.
What this site is
This is the marketing and publishing site for Cauldron Studio. It contains:

- Field Studies and other writing about operational engineering for e-commerce
- A way to contact us and book a call
- Information about the studio
The site does not sell products or services directly. Engagements with Cauldron Studio are governed by a separate Master Services Agreement (MSA) and Statement of Work (SOW) we sign with each client. Nothing on this website constitutes a binding offer of services or creates a contractual relationship between us and any visitor.
Use of the site
You may freely:
- Read the content here
- Share links to it
- Quote reasonably from it (a sentence or two with attribution to Cauldron Studio and a link back to the source) without asking permission
- Contact us through the published email addresses or booking form
- Subscribe to anything we publish via subscription
You may not:
- Scrape the site at scale or in ways that impose a meaningful load on our infrastructure
- Reproduce substantial portions of our writing for republication elsewhere without permission

Engagements with the studio
Nothing on this website constitutes a binding offer to provide services. If you're interested in working with us, the process is:
- You contact us, typically via the booking page or email.
- We have an initial conversation to understand your situation.
- If we agree to work together, we send a written proposal with scope, timeline, and pricing.
- If you accept, we sign a Master Services Agreement and a Statement of Work specific to the engagement.
- The MSA and SOW govern the engagement. These terms govern only your use of the website.
Pricing references on this site (such as "five figures" or "starting at mid-four figures") are general guidance, not binding quotes. Specific pricing is provided in the proposal stage.
Disclaimers

Third-party links
The site links to third-party websites and services (Cal.com, GitHub, Twitter, our service providers, etc.). We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms. Visiting them is at your own risk and subject to their own policies.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the site at any time for any reason, including violation of these terms. The provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability — will survive.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
If you're contacting us about a potential client engagement, the dispute resolution provisions in our Master Services Agreement will govern that engagement instead.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted with a notice on the site. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Like our privacy policy, these terms are versioned in our website's source code repository. The git history is the canonical record of changes over time.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest of the terms remain in effect.
Entire agreement
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Cauldron Studio LLC regarding your use of this website. They supersede any prior agreements relating to use of the website.
